Curt Fukuda has been an exhibiting artist since 1981 with shows throughout the United States, Mexico, and Germany. In 1999, Curt started producing a multimedia project on the history of San Jose Japantown with Jim Nagareda and Janice Oda. The project transformed into a book on the history of San Jose Japantown. Currently, Curt is co-writing the book with Ward Shimizu with Janice Oda, and Jim Nagareda doing the book production and design. Titled San Jose Japantown: A Journey 1890 to 2007, the book is scheduled for publication at the beginning of 2008. More information on the San Jose Japantown project can be found by clicking here.
