The San Jose Japantown history book is scheduled for completion in late 2006. Originally, the San Jose Japantown book project was an interactive CD-ROM with a virtual-reality tour of Nihonmachi using QuickTime VR technology. The CD-ROM was dropped to focus on a book. The panoramas, movies, and other multimedia created for the CD-ROM will be used in a future exhibition.
